I’ve lived a life shaped by three cultures—Mexico, the United States, and Spain. Raised in a bilingual, bicultural home in the U.S. by hardworking Mexican parents, I always knew Spanish wasn’t just a subject—it was a part of me.

A Family Affair

Later, when I studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, I didn’t just study Spanish and Linguistics—I lived it. I stayed with a host family who became my own, and to this day, I still text my “Spanish mom” every morning. Madrid and Sevilla are where my soul exhales. Spain is my “second first home.”

That’s the energy I bring to tutoring. It’s not about rigid rules—it’s about feeling the language, living it, and connecting with it at every level.
